Bryant Town Clerk Lexington March 5th 1853 Then the above named Albert W. Bryant personally appeared and made oath as above certified before me Royal B. Willis Justice of the Pease The towns of Cambridge & Newton debtrz to ye Town of Lexing ton for 358 feet of plank provided by Ensign Harrington since ye repair agreed upon by the Comtee of such Town at ye settlement of repair. Said Ensin. Harrington has recievd his pay from ye Town of Lexington for said plank which was £2.17.4 Entered by order of the Selectmen Benja Brown Town Clerk To Capt. Abishai Brown, Sir, Please to pay the Selectmen of Lexington Twelve Pounds lawfull money and stop the same out of my wages for the support of my family Abraham Meriam Lexington May 15 1775 This order excepted by me Abishai Brown Capt. At a Meeting of the Town of Lexington April 28 1777 The following sums were advanced and paid to the Towns Committee for engaging the Town quota of men for the Continental Army the following persons, viz. Deacon Br___ gave 10 Dollarz Mr. John Chandler gave 10 Dollarz Lt. David Harrington 10 Dollarz Mr. Ebenezer Munro gave 3 dollarz N.B. All the above sums for the above named per sons to pay toward raising the Towns quota of men and for which they are to have credit given Then rec.d of Mr. Jonas Stone Treasurer of sd Town the sum of one Hundred and Thirty three pounds six shilling and eight pence in full of any settlement regarding to the tract of sd Town and the sum of One Hundred and Twenty pounds in full of my annual Salary to the date of this receipt. Rec'd for Jonas Clark Lexington May 5 1759 Then rec.d Mr. Jonas Stone Treasurer for Lexington the sum of One Hundred and Thirty three pounds Twelve shillings & pence, which together with a Province Treasurerz note of Twenty six Pounds, seven Shillings, and four pence, which I received of Mr. Thaddeus Bowman upon the Towns account. It being in full for my sallary this day. Lexington April 20th 1749 Ebenezer Smith notified the Selectmen that on ye 13.d of June 1749, he took into his house to reside with him one Eliza -beth P___ whose last place of residence was at Boston Lexington June 26 Ebenezer Smith Samuel Winship notified the Selectmen taht in ye 5.t of May 1749 he took into his house to reside with hime one Benjamin Follett whose last place of residence was at Salem in the County of Essex Sam.l Winship Joseph Bridge notified the Selectmen that on May 12 1750 he took into his house to reside with him one William Jo___ whose last place of residence was at medford Sd Jone__ was warned out of Town by ye caution entered at Concord Court 1756 & Sd. Bridge paid __ cost Joseph Bridge Sam.ll Goding notified ye Selectment that on ye 5.t of January 1751 he took into his house to reside with hime Sa -rah Bancroft whose last place of residence was at Boston Sam.ll Goding Mr. William Munroe notified the Selectmen that on the 25 of October 1750 he took into his house to reside with him Sarah Dean whose last place of residence was at Concord. William Munroe Levi Fisk notified the Selectmen that on ye 22 of march 1751, he took into his house to reside with him ___ Gragg, whose last place of residence was at Littleton, also ___ that he believed she was in good circumstances Ebenezer Fiske Jonathan Harrington informed theSelectmen that he took into his house to reside with hime John Cutler & his family, whose last place of residence was Waltham. They came into his ___ ___ the latter end of March 1751 Jonathan Harrington Samuel Winshiop informed the Selectmen that he had to ye house that was John Winship in ye 8th of April 1751 David Comee & his family, whose last place of Residence was at Cambridge. Sd Winship informed the Selectmen that he believed that he was in low circumstancez. Nath.n Whittemore informed the Selectmen that he had taken into his house to reside with him Z__riah La__ whose last place of residence was at West___ she came on ye 15 of June 1751, warned out Nath.n Whittemore Jabez Stratton informed the Selectmen that he had taken into his house to reside with him ye 17 of Sept.r 1751 a male child named John Bordman. His last place of residence was at Boston Jabez Stratton John Bridge informed the Selectmen that he had taken into his house to reside with him on the 21 of December 1751 Mr. Richard Perkins whose last place of residence was at Boston. Sd. Bridge informed the Selecmen that gentleman as he believed was under good circumstances. John Bridge ____ ___ on ye near they suposed to be about 8 or nine Years old Atested Thomas Fessenden Sa.h Fessenden Benj.a Esterbrook informed ye Selectmen that on ye 18 of May 1753 that hee hath taken into his service one Jacob Freeman a negro man, and his last place of abode was at Lit-tleton Benj.a Esterbrook Gregory Stone informed t. on ye 14 Day of December 1753 one Mary Oliver a Mullatter girl, and her last place of resident was at Concord and under poor curcumstancez Gregory Stone The Wid.o Sarah Munroe informed on ye 14 of Dec.br 1753 she had taken in Egnatious M___ with his wife, and three children to live in her house. Sarah Munroe Joseph Bridge informz that onye 17 day of Decembr, 1755, hee tok in one Sarah Morgan to reside at his house and ye last place of her above was at Boston Joseph Bridge Benj.a Estabrok informz he had taken into his service the 18 of May 1753, one Jacob Freeman, a negro Man and ye last place of his abode was at Littleton. Benj.a Esterbrook Joseph Underwood Informs that on ye 17 of October 1753, Lydia Preste[?] came from Waltham to his house to live Joseph Underwood March 12, 1754. Then caution was ____ against Egnatious M_____ of his wife and family __ againste one Jacob Freeman a negro man at Charlestown Court
