Muzzey Constable of the Town of Lexington~ Greeting – You are hereby required in the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to notify and warn the Inhabitants of the Town of Lexington who are qualified to vote in the choice of State Officers, to Assemble at the Old Meetinghouse in said town on Monday the 11th day of November next at half past 12 o'clock P.M. to act on the following Articles Viz; Art 1st} To determine the number of Representatives the town will send to the next General Court. Art 2d} To bring in their votes for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Senators and Counsellors of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Agreeably to the Constitution thereof, on One ballot. Also to bring in their votes at the same time for such number of Representatives, as the town may determine to send to the Next General Court. The poll will be opened for all the before Mentioned Officers at One o'clock P.M. You are Also required as before expressed to notify the Inhabitants of said town of Lexington to Assemble at the before mentioned place at 3 o'clock P.M. to act on the following Articles Viz~ Art. 1st.} To choose a Moderator Art. 2th.} To see if the town will authorize the Trustees of the Ministerial Fund to pay to those Citizens who Worship in Robbins Hall their proportion of said fund according to their taxes as per vote passed and recorded – or otherwise act on the article – Art. 3rd.} To see if the Town will take measures to provide Two Grammer schools for the benefit of the whole Town, to be kept in the School Houses in the center and East Village School districts – Art. 4th.} To see if the town will purchase a new Hearse or repair the Old one – Hereof fail not to make return of this Warrant with your doings thereon on or before the time prefixed ~ Given under our hands at Lexington this twenty ninth day of Octr.
