HomeMy WebLinkAbout464 Warrant to Hezekiah Smith for a town meeting to be held on March 3, document dated February 19, 1746Middlx: ss : To Mr Hezekiah Smith Constable of Lexington Greeting You are hearby Required in Hi Majesties name to Warn all ye Freeholders & other Inhabitants Dweling on ye South Side of ye Grate Contrey Road & Town Quallified to vote in Town Affairs: that thay assemble them Selves at at ye Meeting House in the Town on munday ye third Day of March next at Eleven of ye Clock in the morning to act on ye following Artickles: viz (1) to Choose town Officers as ye Law Directs the year Insuing- (2) to se if ye Town will Let their Swine Run at Large ye year Insuing (3) to se if ye Town will Confirm a way for Mr. Andrew Parkes & Others to ye Publick Worship as Prict out By ye Select men at their Request on ye tenth Instant as By their Petition may more fully appear Begining at the Smith Road west of Mr Samel. Bridges feild & so through part of his Land: & Part of Quar: John Bridges Land to a Gate: East of Mr: Joseph Bridge House from thence through sd Jos: Bridge Land to Goffs farm: ye sd way to be two Rod wide Except through Samel Bridge where one Rod and half may do (4) to se if ye town will Allow Mr. Daniel Simonds & Mr: Amos Muzzy Pay for there Service as two of ye Comtee. Imployed By ye town in ye Last Seating of the Meeting House.
