Mr.George E.i.1uzzey:-
Dear Sir: -
1 take the first opportunity to write you and
say that Mrs. Foster was in this morning and that our trade is"off°on
the High St. property. We made our proposition through P.1r.Bacon who
brought us back word that she accepted it. We had the title looked up at
an expense of ti} 30. and also, at Mrs Foster's request had the papers dralrk,
Now Mrs Foster state; that in as much as the amount we shall get out of
the ,town or state is going to be considerable, she cannot get along with
out a larger cash payment than we agreed for or are willing to give. We
told her what you said about our giving the land but she scoffed at the
idea and evidently has it in mind now to make someone pay well. We
give you a1_l the information that we ourselves have at once in order
that you may guide your proceedur4. in accordance with the new status.
Youf.s ve ry truly
