HomeMy WebLinkAbout465 Perambulation of bounds between Lexington & Waltham, April 27, 1747April ye 27 1747 To the Selectmen of Lexingtown and Waltham gentlemen we the Subscriber being appointed and Desired by you to preambelate and Renew the bound marks betwen the sd towns in answer therefore to your Desier we have searched for and Renewed those bound marks which you shall find here after mantioned that is to say 1 begening at a Stake and keep of stores near the house of mr 2 John Cutlers 2 thence Esterly to a Stak and heep of stons 3 thence east to a stake and heep of stons 4 thence East to a Large Stump and Stons on the top of it 5 thence East to a Stake and heep of Stons on ye East side of a middow 6 thence East to a black oake tree marked (WL) 7 thence East to a black oake tree marked (WL) 8 thence to a heep of Stons in a wall of Leut Josiah parkers 9 thence East to a pine Stump and Stons about it 10 thence East to a Stake and heep of Stons on the west side of a a swamp called pand swamp 11 thence East to a Stake and heep of Stons on the East Side of sd Swamp 12 thence East to a black oake tree marked (WL) 13 thence East to a Stump and Stons on it near ye house of mr Starns 14 thence East to a Stump and Stons on the wall of mr willington 15 thence East to a Red ash tree marked (WL) 16 thence East to a heep of Stons in mr John Smiths field 17 thence East to a Stake and heep of Stons on the East Side of a Swamp 18 thence East to a great heep of Stons near Capt Nathnl Bowmands house Joseph White } for Lexingtown Jonathn Smith } Danel Child } for Waltham William Fisk } Perambulation We Joseph White and Jonathan Smith pray that you would a low us six shlings old tennor each man for prambelate ye Line betwen sd towns alowed white & smith what yu demand 1747
