HomeMy WebLinkAbout439 Perambulation between Lexington & Waltham, September 6, 1850We the Subscribers, Selectmen of Lexington and Waltham have this Sixth day of September 1850 perambulated & run the lines & renewed the bounds between said towns & make return as follows viz: Beginning at a stone monument by the brook South of Phinehas Laurence's [Lawrence's] house marked LWW, thence Southerly about 88 rods to a stone monument marked LW on a flat ledge in T. Sanderson's land, thence westerly about 144 rods to a stone monument marked LW on the westerly side of the road near A. Wellington's barn, thence to a stone monument marked LW, about 174 rods, by the road near the house of Archelaus Bennett, thence to the north side of a large stone in the wall marked LW by land of E. Smith's about 97 rods, thence to a stone monument marked LW in the wall, by a wood lot owned by Thomas Cutler about 91 rods, thence to a stone monument at the corner of Lexington Waltham & Lincoln marked LWL about 500 rods. Said line is supposed to be straight from the monument in T. Sanderson's land to the corner, being the line & bounds between Lexington, Waltham & Lincoln.
