The Selectmen of Lexington and Bedford, Perambulated the
boundry [boundary] lines between said Towns and find the monuments
standing at the several angles Viz.
Commencing at a stone post at the corner of Lincoln, Bedford
and Lexington a few rods south of Dea. Amos Heartwells [Hartwell's] house
and through land of said Heartwell in Bedford; thence over the
hill north of said Heartwells and through woodland of John
Meriam Esqr. crossing Farley brook near the dam; thence
through woodland of said Meriam in Bedford; thence
on a ditch to a stone post, thence making an angle to a
Stone post near William Pages house in Bedford;
thence to a Stone post on the road from Lexington to Bedford;
thence to a Stone post in the corner of
a wall on the hill; thence by a wall on a straight line
to a stone post at the corner of Bedford, Burlignton and
Lexington north of Daniel Cummings house by an old
cellar.
