HomeMy WebLinkAbout435 Perambulation between Lexington & Burlington, September 3, 1850Be it remembered that on the 3rd day of September 1850. The Selectmen of Lexington and Burlington Perambulated the boundary line between said Towns and erected Stone monuments where a renewal was necessary as follows Viz. Commencing at a Stone Monument at the corner of Bedford, Burlington & Lexington marked B.B.L. near an old cellar north of the house of Daniel Cummings, thence to a corner of the wall by Charles Robinsons long pasture thence by said wall through a meadow owned by said Robinson - thence by a wall over the hill to a Stone monument marked L.B. on Bull Meadow hill so called, thence to a Stone monument in the corner of the wall on the south side of the road opposite the barn of Amos Anger [Angier?] - thence to a Stone monument marked L.B. north of the house of Nickols Locke and standing near the wall on turn of Wm. P. Gibbs land - thence to a Stone monument on the north side of the new road near the Barn of Wm. P. Gibbs - thence to a Stone monument marked L.B. crossing the brook below the mill pond and standing on the north side of the old road; thence through the mill pond to a Stone monument marked L.B. on the north side of the Turnpike near where Randalls Mill was recently burnt; thence to a Stone monument marked L.B.W. at the coner [corner] of Lexington and Burlington and side line of Woburn Philip Russell S.
