HomeMy WebLinkAbout418 Report concerning the placement of a monument to mark the boundary between Lexington and Burlington, November 18, 1861Mar. 18. 1861 The Selectmen of Burlington and Lexington by their Agents Nathan Blanchard and Charles Hudson met according to appointment, met after having a line run by Mr Charles Richardson, an approved Surveyor from a Monument standing in a pasture near the house of Marshall Locke, being the corner of the towns of Woburn and Burlington to a Monument by the side of the land near the old Randalls Hill, and a due calculation made, agreed upon the location of a Monument to mark the line of Towns upon the road, running from said Locke's to Nathan Blanchards - the Monument to stand upon the westerly side of said road and to be marked with the initials of the two towns.
