on exp e as pauper in your town and alleging that the legal settlement is in
this town, is received.
Upon due inquiry we can find no evidence that this town is the place of
lawful' settlement of said pauper . We therefore decline receiving said pauper
or paying any expense that has arisen, or may arise for / support.
