of Lexington in the County of Middlesex & in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts Gentm Treasurer of the Town
of Lexington & impowered by said Town for Divers causes &
considerations have Given granted & conveyed and by these
Presents do Give Grant & convey to the Said commonwealth
a certain peice of Land at the Northeast corner of the Towns Land
Being in Lexington aforesaid. (for the purpose of Erecting
a Gun House theiron) So Long as it shall be occupied for that
purpose by the commonwealth aforesaid (reserveing the wood standing,
theiron) containing, forty Eight feet upon the County
Road on the Towns Land twenty two feet westerly Southerly
on the Towns Land twenty two feet westerly, Southerly
on the Towns Land fifty two feet then twenty five feet on
Nathan Munro Land
Bounded as Follows (viz) Northwesterly on the Great Country
Road So called Westerly and Southwesterly on the Towns Land
Easterly on Land of Nathan Munro to the road Bound, first
mentioned. with all the privelidges and appurtenanes [appurtenances] to the
the same belonging or any ways appertainning. To Have
& to Hold the Same to the Said Commonwealth and their
Sole use for the Term and purpose aforesaid. And that I have
Good Right and Lawfull Authority in my aforesaid capacity
to convey the Same free of all Incumbrances and that I will
Warrant and Defend the Same against the Lawfull claims
of all persons to the commonwealth for the Term aforeaid

Set my hand and Seal this Seventh day of September in
year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & ninty
