Viz. To, see if the Town will cause the two burying grounds to be fenced in a suitable manner. That on examination they find the grounds in a very bad situation, the fence being in a decayed state & fallen down, the new burying ground is bounded as follows, on the land of C. S. Jacobs 20 rods, on the land J & J Wellington 28 1/4 rods, on the land of Dr J Nelson 14 rods, on the land of John Mulliken 25 1/2 rods, on the land of the Bridges 9 1/4 rods & on the land of Mrs Cutter 26 rods making in the whole 123 rods. They would also state that upon information gained the town is obliged to keep the fence in repair with the exception of the land of Dr J Nelson, Mr Bridges & Mrs Cutter, we deem it expedient to recommend that a fence be erected after the following plan: Stone posts 8 inches square & 12 feet apart, three rails, 3 inches square spruce joist & painted. We would also recommend not to erect a fence adjoining the land of Mrs Cutter on the passage way, the number of rods will be lessened to 103 rods. The old burying ground is bounded on the land of Jonas M Muzzey 17 rods, 2 1/2 feet on the land of Joseph Davis, 28 rods & 8 3/4 feet, thence on the land of a of a private ground & 9 rods, 4 1/2 feet on the land formaly belonging to Jonas M Muzzey We would recommend that this burying ground be fenced as the other.
