HomeMy WebLinkAbout2269 Report of Selectmen concerning measures to cause the avenues in the new burying ground to be graded, 1851At a Town Meeting held at the Townhouse on Monday the 20th day of January 1851, the following article in the warrant was refered to the Selectmen viz "Article 9th To see if the Town will take measures to cause the avenues in the new burying ground to be graded" The Selectmen report that that have viewed the avenues aforesaid and we recommend to the Town to have the avenue from the road to the burying ground and the avenue across the Southwesterly end of said burying ground plowed and properly shaped and graded with gravel and the remaining avenues viz one on each side and two across the burying ground to be plowed properly shaped and crowned And we estimate the expence of shaping and grading the avenues in the burying ground as recommended in the above report at the sum of thirty Dollars.
