HomeMy WebLinkAbout413 Perambulation between Lexington & Belmont, November 23, 1865Agreeably to notice given to the town of Belmont by the town of Lexington, to meet at the house formerly occupied by Phineas Lawrence on the 23d day of Nov AD 1865, for the purpose of perambulating, and running the lines between the said towns, and renewing the marks and bounds, we the subscribers having met at the above time and place for the purpose aforesaid make the following return of our doings Begining at a monument a hill at the corner of West Cambridge and Belmont Marked L.W.C.D.B. Thence S.W. to a monument beside the road leading from Lexington to Watertown, Thence to a monument on a hill. Thence to a monument beside the turnpike, Thence to a monument in Back meadow and standing in a brook or ditch. Thence to a monument on a line at the corner of Lexington Belmont and Waltham, marked L.W.B. All of the preceding bounds except the first are marked L[?] & B[?] are all of stone and in good condition.
