Meeting Conducted by Remote Participation
Commissioners Present: Robert Rotberg, Marilyn Fenollosa, Susan Bennett.
Commissioners Absent: Wendall Kalsow, Diane Pursley.
Associate Commissioners Present: David Kelland.
Associate Commissioner Absent:
Chair Robert Rotberg called the June 18th 2025 Historical Commission meeting to order at 7:00
pm.
AGENDA ITEM #1: Approval of meeting minutes of the meetings held on March 19th, 2025 & May
21st, 2025
Ms. Fenollosa made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting held on March 19th, 2025 as
amended. Motion carried. All in favor.
Ms. Fenollosa made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting held on May 21st, 2025 as
written. Motion carried with Ms. Bennett abstaining. All in favor.
AGENDA ITEM #2: Public Hearing regarding the Partial Building Demolition and roof line change
(additions) at 15 Field Road

SUMMARY:
Historical Commission 1
Richardo Bilonick, architect, and Debbie Yu, homeowner, explained the proposed additions plans for this
structure. The carport canopy and garage door will be removed for the new garage construction.
Chair Mr. Rotberg recused himself for this hearing because he lives nearby. The Commission agreed to
continue this hearing to next meeting with a new design more in keeping with the spirit of the house.
No public comments.
HC COMMENTS:
The Commission preferred to see this structure could be retained with its historical spirit.
MOTION:
Ms. Bennett made a motion to find the historical structure at 15 Field Road was historically
significant and preferably preserved, and that Historical Commission will continue this discussion
to next meeting and would like to see a design more in keeping with the spirit of the house, which
could be achieved and still satisfy the owner's objectives. Mr. Kelland seconded.

Ms. Fenollosa — Yes,
Ms. Bennett — Yes,
Motion carried 3 to 0. Motion carried. All in favor.
AGENDA ITEM #3: Creating an Historical Commission preservation awards program
Ms. Bennett brought up an idea for creating a Historical Commission preservation award for encouraging
the local historical preservation in Lexington.
AGENDA ITEM #4: Input from Commissioners on other matters
The Commissioners discussed the proposed antenna replacement in a faux chimney in Manor community.

Ms. Bennett made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Ms. Fenollosa at 8:17pm. Motion carried. All
in favor.
