Goals
The short term goal of volunteering at the Visitor Center on April 19 was
accomplished. Need to identify a new short term goal.
For a long term goal, may want to focus on funding.
Suggestions
• Work with Lexington History Museums
• Establish a foundation (Cary Library model)
• What would a foundation do
• Establish matching funds program
• Explore what towns (world wide) are doing a good job; e.g. Concord, Salem
• Food for visitors, the 250th Picnic in the Park was success. Need to look at
options for bus tours
Meeting House Model Update
Model has been at First Parish, but must be moved by the end of the month.
Ben Soule has made another request to find a home for it in Lexington.
It was suggested that a meeting be held with Mike Cronin, Director of Public
Facilities, to review suitable sites as well as any other considerations. Sandhya will
set up meeting with Mike and Margaret and Jay Abdella.
