HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-06-1371 LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS ' June 13, 1985 Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -Man, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town, published on May 30 and June 6, 1985 and notice sent by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearings were held in the Town Office Building on the petitions listed below. Acting on the petitions were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor, Vice Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Anne R. Scigliano, Clarence D. Turner and Associate Member William C. Hays. Also, in attendance were William C. Corcoran, Acting Building Commissioner and David Patnaude, Building Inspector. 643 Waltham Street: James B. Catalano requested a special permit, in accordance with Zoning By -Law Table 1, lines 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5, to continue operations of retail business of selling flowers, produce and plants grown on the premises. 196 Woburn Street: David Modoono requested a special permit, in accordance with Zoning By -Law Table 1, lines 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5, to carryon the operations of a roadside stand and sale of related wholesale products, as well as Christmas trees in season at 196 Woburn Street. 231 Bedford Street: Carmen and Annette Lombardo requested a variance of Zoning By -Law to park on the rear portion of the lot at 231 Bedford Street, which is zoned residential. 321 Woburn Street: Iole Rocchi requested a special permit, in accordance with Zoning By -Law Table 1, line 6.14, for take out food service at the grocery store at Countryside, 321 Woburn Street. 101 Spring Street: John J. Geany and Jacquelyn M. Geany requested a special permit, in accordance with Zoning By -Law Section 7.4.9, to allow the continued use of the dwelling at 101 Spring Street as located; and a variance of dimen- sional controls, Section 7.1 and Table 2, to add a second floor, which will be no closer to the front lot line than the existing house. Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. 643 Waltham St. - SP granted (expiration date 5/12/87). A unanimous decision. 196 Woburn St. - By unanimous vote, the hearing was continued to July 11. 231 Bedford St. Variance granted, unanimously. 321 Woburn St. - SP granted unanimously. 101 Spring St. - SP granted unanimously; Variance granted unanimously. Other action: The Board voted unanimously on the advice of Francis X. Fields, Town Engineer, to accept the plan, signed on May 30, 1985 and revised on June 7, 1985, showing new water pipe connection for Kilnbrook IV, 20 Maguire Rd. (formerly Mellex Rd.).
