Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -Man, a newspaper of general
circulation in the Town, published on March 14 and 21, 1985 and notice sent
by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions
of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearing were held in the Town Office
Building on the petitions listed below.
Acting on the petitions were: Acting Chairman Robert M. Gary, Anne R.
Scigliano, and Associate Members: Susan S. Beck, Eric T. Clarke and John J.
McWeeney.
2 Wallis Ct., Wallis Court Associates. Petition for a variance from Zoning
By -Law Section 11 (Off -Street Parking and Loading) to reduce the number of
required parking spaces or reduce required setback, or reduce maneuvering
space at 2 Wallis Court.
324 Marrett Road, Gulf Refining & Marketing Co. requested a special permit, in
accordance with Zoning By -Law Sign Regulations, for the addition of an illumin-
ated sign to be located below the existing Gulf pole sign at 324 Marrett Road.
229 Follen Rd., Bruce A. Maloof, Ph.D. requested a special permit in accordance
with Zoning By -Law Section 3.3 and Table 1, line 8.3, to continue to use a
portion of his residence as an office.
58 Middle St., Thomas M. and Virginia A. R. Cahill requested a special permit,
in accordance with Table 1, line 9.1, to allow a trailer on their lot to be
used as a temporary dwelling while extensive renovations are made to the
interior of the house.

2 Wallis Ct. - Variance denied unanimously (petitioners did not appear at hearing).
324 Marrett Rd. - SP granted by vote of 4 to 1 (Mr. McWeeney opposed).
229 Follen Rd. - SP granted unanimously (expires 4/14/90).
58 Middle St. - SP granted unanimously (expires 3/28/86).
