HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-11-08LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS November 8, 1984 Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -man, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town, published on October 25 and November 1, 1984 and notice sent by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearings were held in the Town Office Building on the petitions listed below. Acting on the petitions were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor, Vice Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Robert M. Gary, Anne R. Scigliano and Clarence D. Turner. 10 Colony Rd.-, Leonard J. Colwell and Marjorie D. Weerts requested a special permit, pursuant to ZBL section 7.4.9, for the continued use of the garage, as located on the property. 1265 Massachusetts Ave., Seasons Four, Inc. requested a special permit during the holiday season, to remain open for operation of its retail business from 9:00 a.m, to 8:OO p.m., Monday through Friday, from the Friday preceding Thanksgiving to and including December 23; and to sell Christmas trees and wreaths during the appropriate season. This permit was requested for a three year period (ref. ZBL Section 3.3 and Table 1, line 3.5). 189 Massachusetts Ave., Sheila Robinson requested a special permit, pursuant to Zoning By -Law Section 10.2.5, Sign Regulations, for the interior illumination of a wall sign. 81 Hancock St., Jacquelin & Jeffrey Weinstock requested a special permit, pursuant to ZBL Section 7.4.9 for the continued use of the house and garage, as located on the ' property; and a variance of dimensional controls, Section 7 and Table 2 for an addition. 2 Burns Rd., Jan N. & Eva S. Jonas requested a variance of dimensional controls, section 7 and table 2, and/or a special permit, pursuant to section 7.4.9, for the continued use of the buildings as located on the property. 373 Massachusetts Ave., Sunshine Convenient Food Mart requested a special permit (Section 3.3) for take out food service, prusuant to ZBL Table 1, line 6.14, at the Sunshine Convenient Food Mart, 373 Mass. Ave., where other owners have been making sandwiches for customers for approximately ten years. Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. 1 10 Colonv Rd. 1265 Mass. Ave 189 Mass. Ave. 81 Hancock St. 2 Burns Rd. - 373 Mass. Ave. -SP granted, unanimously. -SP's granted, unanimously. -SP denied, unanimously. There were two decisions. SP and Variance were granted, unanimously.
