HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-10-11LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS October 11, 1984 Pursuant to notice in the Lexington Minute -man, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town, published on September 27 and October 4, 1984 and notice sent by mail, postage prepaid, to all interested parties pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, public hearings were held in the Town Office Building on the petitions listed below. Acting on the petitions were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor, Vice Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Robert M. Gary, Anne R. Scigliano and Clarence D. Turner. 364 Waltham St., R. T. Fitzsimmons & Margaret M. Benson requested a special permit to convert the single family dwelling to a two family dwelling. 396 Waltham St., Mobil Oil Corporation requested a special permit for an illuminated, standing sign, pursuant to ZBL sign regulations, Sections 10.4 and 10.2.5, to replace the present sign. 92-100 Hayden Ave., Trustees of 92 Hayden Avenue Trust, c/o Boston Properties, requested a special permit for an internally illuminated standing sign. 39 Bedford St., Hodgdon-Noyes Gulf, Inc. requested special permits as follows: SP for automotive sales and service uses, pursuant to Table 1, lines 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4; and SP for signs (ZBL Sections 10.1.4 and 10.4.5, sign regulations). 94 Hartwell Ave., Alfred P. Tropeano requested a special permit (SPS), pursuant to Zoning By -Law Section 3.4 (site plan review) and Table 1, line 6.12, for construction and operation of a restaurant. Property is zoned CM and is shown on Lexington Assessors' Map 73, 1/2 of Lot 9. Decisions filed with the Town Clerk, 364 Waltham St. - SP granted, unanimously. 396 Waltham St. - SP granted, unanimously. 92-100 Hayden Ave. - SP granted, unanimously. 39 Bedford St. - SP's granted, unanimously. 94 Hartwell Ave. - SPS granted, unanimously. The Board, by unanimous vote, re-elected Thomas G. Taylor as Chairman, Natalie H. Riffin as Vice Chairman, and Evelyn F. Cole, Administrative Clerk/Secretary of the Board of Appeals.
