September 27, 1984
The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at
7:45 P.M. Notices were placed in the Lexington Minuteman, a newspaper of general
circulation in the Town, published on Thursdays. Notices appeared in the newspaper
on September 13 and 20 and were sent by mail, postage prepaid to all interested
parties, pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws.
Present and acting on the scheduled hearings were: Chairman Thomas G. Taylor,
Vice Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Anne R. Scigliano, Clarence D. Turner and Associate
Member Eric T. Clarke.
Public hearings were held on the following petitions:
10 Maguire Rd., Itek Corp. requested a special permit, pursuant to ZBL Section 3.4
and other related sections to allow four additions.
10 Maguire Rd., Itek Corp. requested a variance from Section 7 to allow maximum
height of an addition to be seventy feet,
39 Lincoln St., Estate of Louise M. Lunder requested a special permit, pursuant to
ZBL Section 7.4.9 (exemptions for certain non -complying buildings) for the continued
use of the single family residence, as it is presently located on the lot.
6 Whittier Rd., Donald E. Parent & Patricia C. Byrnes -Parent requested a special
Permit, pursuant to ZBL Section 7.4.9, for the continued use of the single family
residence, as it is presently located on the lot.
351-363 Massachusetts Ave., S. Richard Bram requested a special permit for a standing
sign, pursuant to ZBL Section 10, Sign Regulations.
35 Bedford St., American Health Care Inc., Walk-in Medical Care Services, requested
a special permit to erect a standing sign, replacing the sign which was approved for
Liberties Medical Center, pursuant to ZBL Section 10, Sign Regulations.
7 Carmel Circle, Tien -Yu Tsui requested a variance of dimensional controls, Section
7 and Table 2, to construct a garage.
30 Woodpark Circle, Martin R. & Lenna Stiglitz requested a variance of dimensional
controls, ZBL Section 7 and Table 2, for an addition.
The 10 Maguire Rd. hearings continued from August 2 were continued again. New
hearing date would be October 25. Notice duly posted in accordance with zoning laws.
Decisions filed with the Town Clerk.
39 Lincoln St. - SP granted, unanimously. 35 Bedford St. - SP granted, unanimously.
6 Whittier Rd. - SP granted, unanimously. 7 Carmel Circle - V - granted "
351-363 Mass. Ave. - SP granted, 30 Woodpark Circle - Variance granted,
unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 11:02 P.M.
