The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room
at 7:45 P.M. Present and acting on petitions were:

Public hearings were held on the following petitions.
959 Waltham St., Lexington Lodge of Elks requested a special permit, pursuant to
ZBL Table 1, line 9.1 (temporary uses), to allow the parking of six trailers at
the rear of the parking lot behind the Elks' building. Trailers are used for the
distribution of telephone books.
2317 Massachusetts Ave., Michael & Estelle Rizzo requested a variance of dimensional
controls, Section 7 and Table 2, to allow brick and concrete steps to remain as
located.
North Corner Lot, Piper Road & Waltham St. (shown on Assessors' Map 10), Herman E.
Erikson requested a variance of dimensional controls, Section 7 and Table 2, area
requirement for a buildable lot. Lot area is 21,371 sq. ft. instead of 30,000 sq.
ft. instead of 30,000 sq. ft.
Marrett Road at the intersection of the entrance to the Minuteman Regional Vocational
Technical School; land shown on Town Property Maps 44 & 52; Cranberry Hill, Associ-
ates by Nolan, Norton and Co., Inc. requested special permits, pursuant to ZBL
Section 8.2 (Controlled Commercial & Industrial District - CD) and ZBL Section 10.4.4
(standing sign). Petitioner wishes to construct a 4 -story office building for the
uses and under the conditions set forth in Art. 59 as approved by the 1982 Annual
Town Meeting; and to construct and maintain a standing sign near the entrance
driveway.
Decisions filed with the Town Clerk.
959 Waltham St. - SP granted, unanimously (expires 4/30/84).
2317 Mass. Ave. - Variance granted, unanimously.
Piper Road Lot - Variance denied, unanimously.
Marrett Road Lot (CD zoned by Town Meeting) - SP's granted, unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M.
