The Board held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at 7:30 p.m.
Present and acting on petitions were:

Public hearings were held on the following petitions.
23 Pearl St., Stephen Puleo requested a special permit, pursuant to Section 5.7, to
maintain an above ground swimming pool and a variance from dimensional controls,
Section 5.7.1 (a) to allow the pool to have less than the required 15 ft. side yards.
31 Sherman St., Brian & Kathleen Mackintosh requested a variance of dimensional
controls (side yard requirement) to allow additions to the house, which is in an RS
zone. House builtcirca1890 (ref. ZBL Sections 6.3, 7.4 and Table 2).
6 Vaille Ave., Thomas E. O'Neill requested a variance from Table 2, dimensional con-
trols to move a garage to a new location on property. Garage will have less than
the required side yard.
' 159 Reed St., Joseph V. and Brenda J. Rosetta requested a variance from dimensional
controls to enclose front porch and add a deck (ref. ZBL Sections 6 & 7) and a
special permit (Section 7.4.9) to maintain existing house as located with insuffici-
ent setback and side yard.
70 Westview St., Dupree Associates requested a special permit (SPS) in accordance
with ZBL Section 3.4, for construction of a three-story, 62,000 sq. ft. office build-
ing (ZBL Table 1, all uses under 4 & 7.1 and 7.2) at 70 Westview Street, which is in
the CM Zone. The applicant requested the time period for the special permit to be
three years.

23 Pearl St. - SP and Variance granted unanimously.
31 Sherman St. - Variance granted unanimously.
6 Vaille Ave. - Variance granted unanimously.
159 Reed St. - SP granted unanimously to allow house to remain as located; and
- Variance to enclose porch so living room may be enlarged.
- Variance DENIED - to add a deck which would increase the non -conformity.
70 Westview St. - SPS granted by 4 to 1 vote (Wm. C. Hays voting in negative)
Board denied the 3 year time period requested for the SPS.
The meeting adjourned at 11:31 p.m.
