HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-04-14LEXINGTON BOARD OF APPEALS April 14, 1983 The Board held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Present and acting on petitions: Woodruff M. Brodhead, Chairman Natalie H. Riffin, Vice Chairman Robert M. Gary Thomas G. Taylor Clarence D. Turner, Associate Public hearings were held on the following petitions, beginning at 7:30 p.m. 109 Burlington St., Robert J. Harris requested a variance of dimensional controls ZBL Table 2, to allow an existing carport to remain as located. 11 Wellington Lane Ave., Louis J. & Donna M. DiLuna requested a special permit for an in -ground swimming pool (ref. ZBL Section 5.7). 229 Follen Rd., Bruce A. Maloof requested a special permit to use a portion of his residence as an office (ref. ZBL Table 1, line 8.2). 4 Robbins Rd., George & Mary -Beth Whiteside requested a special permit to maintain dwelling as located (ref. ZBL 7.4.9) and a variance of dimensional controls (ZBL Table 2) to allow a two-story (51x15') addition to be constructed. 93 Hancock St., Lexington Gardens, Inc. requested an amendment to their special permit which would allow Sunday openings (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Petitioner said that request was made because of the new State Law which allows business to open on ' Sundays. Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. 109 Burlington St. - variance granted unanimously. 11 Wellington Lane Ave. - special permit granted unanimously. 229 Follen Rd. - special permit granted for 2'years - unanimously.(exp. 4/14/85) 4 Robbins Rd. - SP and variance granted unanimously. 93 Hancock St. - DENIED.
