The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room.

Public hearings were held on the following petitions. (7)
3 John Poulter Rd., Howard and Elizabeth H. Pifer - special permit for a pool.
47 Liberty Ave., Ming-Jer and Huan Rosa Tsai - variance of dimensional controls
to remodel existing garage and carport into a family room and a new garage by
extending the existing structure 6 ft. to the side yard. The proposed new family
room and garage will violate the current minimum front yard setback requirement.
4 Moon Hill Rd., Leonora Zola, Psychologist - special permit to use a portion of
her residence to counsel patients.
51-53 Woburn St., Norman Nielsen - special permit to convert the space formerly
used as a store to living space, making a two family house at 51-53 Woburn St.
52 Lowell St., Rosina Busa - special permits for operation of a roadside stand
and to sell Christmas trees and wreaths in the appropriate season at Sun Valley
Farms. The first roadside stand permit was granted in 1959 and a roadside stand
has operated every year since then.
196 Woburn St., Robert and David Modoono - renewal of special permits for operation
of a roadside stand and to sell Christmas trees and wreaths in the appropriate
season at 196 Woburn St. (formerly identified as 192 Woburn St.).
40 Hartwell Ave., Control Data Corp., Micro -Bit Division - special permit to locate
up to 5 office trailers to house personnel temporarily during an internal reloca-
tion of plant facilities and work spaces.
Decisions filed with the Town Clerk.
52 Lowell St. - SP's granted ( 4 to 0, Irving Mabee abstaining).
3 John Po It r Rd. - SP granted unanimously.
47 Liberty Ave. - Variance granted unanimously.
4 Moon Hill Rd. - SP granted to Dr. Zola with conditions (decision was unanimous).
51-53 Woburn St. - SP granted unanimously (converted dwelling cannot be returned
to business use.).
196 Woburn St. - SP granted unanimously (expires 4/30/83).
40 Hartwell Ave. - Temporary SP granted unanimously (trailers must be removed by
6/3/82) .
The meeting adjourned at 10:03 p.m.
