The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room.
Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman

Public hearings were held on the following petitions.
4 Frances Rd., Stephen Hintlian - variance to maintain an existing house as located.
57 Woburn St., Rachel M. and Carlton E. Higgins - variance to maintain the existing
dwelling as located.
5 Donald St., Robert Murray - variances to maintain existing lot and structures.
20 Waltham St., Melting Pot International, Inc., Edward V. Jigarjian - special
permits to includo fast food service and take out food service at food store.
424 Bedford St., Boston Properties - special permit under Lexington Zoning By-law
Section 9.6, Natiqnal Flood Insurance District.
Walnut St, and Co cord Ave., formerly Powder Horn Golf Course, Trustees of Potter
Pond Trust, Paul 0. Boyd and F. William Smith - variance to allow for the construc-
tion and use of nine four -car garages and a variance of dimensional controls to allow
less than 30 feet between buildings (2 garages) and also a revision of the special
permit granted by the Board so as to allow for the above variances.

Potter Pond - decisions: granted unanimously the variances to allow 9 4 -car garages
and revision of the former special permit, granted 2/14/80
to allow the 4 -car garages.
denied unanimously a variance to allow 30' between garages.
