HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-09-27BOARD OF APPEALS September 27, 1979 7:30 p.m. The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman Woodruff M. Brodhead Irving H. Mabee Natalie H. Riffin Robert V. Whitman, Associate Public hearings were held on the following petitions: 57 Harding Rd., Richard J. and Mary Kirk Snell - variance to maintain structures. 12 Revolutionary,Rd., Stanley C. and Regina K. Reynolds - variance to maintain structures. A 1956 variance was never properly recorded. 30 Hancock St., Mary M. Jones, Tr. - variance for a playhouse location. 271 Marrett Rd., Jonathan and Monika Brand - special permit to convert dwelling to two family and a variance to allow less sideyard than required under zoning by-law. 186 Bedford St., Mystic Valley Mental Health Association, Inc. - special permit to add a second story for additional office space. Also, special permit for a sign. 225 Marrett Rd.,;Cambridge Farms Realty Tr. - variance of frontage requirements. The Planning Board has waived the requirement under G.L. Ch. 41 Sec. 81R. Decisions filed With the Town Clerk. 57 Harding Rd. - granted unanimously. 12 Revolutionary Rd. - granted unanimously. 30 Hancock at. - denied unanimously. 271 Marrett 'Rd. - granted unanimously. 225 Marrett Rd. - granted unanimously. 186 Bedford St. - decision deferred to 10/18/79. At the conclusion of the 186 Bedford St. hearing, the Board determined that they needed further information from the Petitioner and Planning Board with respect to future (long range plans) for Mystic Valley, as well as, parking requirements and space needs. Mrs. Morey and Mrs. Riffin were authorized to meet with the Mystic Valley officials toward this end and the Board voted to adjourn until the further necessary information with respect to 186 Bedford St. could be provided.
