The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room
beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman
Woodruff M. Brodhead
Thomas G. Taylor
Clarence D. Turner, Associate
William C. Scouler, Associate
Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings
having been mailed and advertised as required by statute.
12 Sullivan St., Paul B. and Marguerite A. Thomas - variance to maintain existing
dwelling as located.
17 Green Lane, Adriann Schrauwen - special permit for a swimming pool.
41 Ledgelawn Ave., Arthur T. McKearney - variance to maintain existing dwelling as
located and a special permit to construct a pool.
36 Albermarle Ave., Frank Procopio - variance to construct a garage.
60 Westview St., Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States - special
permit to construct a solvent storage building, to be owned and maintained by the
U.S. Government. S special permit for this project was previously granted on
June 1, 1978 to R & W Realty Trust. Construction delay due to change in Government
contracting procedures.
North St. (Tymewood subdivision)- Lots 5 & 6, Ralph H. Hall, Trs., S & A Realty Tr.
for the necessary variances with respect to frontage requirements.
Decisions filed with Town Clerk.
12 Sullivan St. granted unanimously.
17 Green Lane - (granted unanimously.
41 Ledgelawn Ave. - SP and Variance granted unanimously.
North St. lots - granted unanimously.
36 Albermarle Avga. - granted unanimously.
60 Westview St. - granted unanimously
