MAY 17, 1979
The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room
beginning at 7 30 p m.

Natalie H. Riffin, Associate
Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings
having been mailed and advertised as required by statute
Garfield St. (Map 72, Lots 36 & 37) , Lexington Housing Authority - variance of the
minimum front and rear yard setback requirements for construction of a single
family dwelling by or for the LHA. This is Site Number 11 under LHA's Scattered
Sites Housing Program. (see 39 Garfield St. )
Rangeway St. (Map 90, Lot 80) , Lexington Housing Authority - variance of minimum
front yard setback requirement for construction of a single family dwelling by or
for the LHA. This is site number 13 under LHA's Scattered Sites Housing Program.

Reed Street (Map 72, Lots 184 & 185) , Lexington Housing Authority - variance of
minimum side yard requirement for construction of a single family dwelling by or
III for the LHA. This is site number 23 under LHA's Scattered Sites Housing Program.

Wood Street (Map 59, Lots 48A & 49A) , Lexington Housing Authority - variance of
minimum rear yard requirement for construction of a single family dwelling by or
for the LHA. This is site number 21 under LHA's Scattered Sites Housing Program.

211 Massachusetts Avenue, Peter J Rogaris - special permits to operate a food
service establishment. (formerly Kentucky Fried Chicken) He intends to make
certain modifications within the existing structure, including proposed seating
capacity for 48 persons
Decisions filed with the Town Clerk.
Garfield St. - granted unanimously (numbered 39 by Town Engineering Dept.)
Rangeway St. - granted unanimously (numbered 5 by Town Engineering Dept.)
Reed St. - denied unanimously (0 side yard)
Wood St. - granted unanimously (numbered 50 by Town Engineering Dept.)
211 Mass. Ave - granted 4 to 1 (George P Wadsworth voting in the negative)
The Board voted unanimously to elect Ruth Morey the Chairman of the Board of
Appeals and Woodruff M. Brodhead, Vice-Chairman of the Board for the ensuing year
Notice to be filed with the Town Clerk.
The meeting adjourned at 11 30 p m.
