The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room
beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Ruth Morey, acting Chairman
Thomas G. Taylor
Irving H. Mabee
Natalie H. Riffin, Associate
Clarence D. Turner, Associate
Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings
having been mailed and advertised as required by statute.
16 Fairland Street, Charles H. Prentice - variance of dimensional controls to
maintain dwelling as located.
6 Cherry Street, George S. Grey, Jr. - variance of dimensional controls for an
addition.
Cedar St. corner of Denver St., Harvey W. Newgent and Jean P. Newgent - request
to combine Lots 43, 44, 45 and 81 as shown on a plan entitled "Lexington Farms,
Lexington - H.A. Millhouse, C.E., March 1912 (recorded)" into one lot having a
frontage on Cedar Street of 75 feet and an area of 12,924 sq. ft., and to maintain
the existing dwelling and garage on said lot having insufficient frontage and area,
' and to combine Lots 38 through 42 inclusive into a separate and distinctive build-
ing lot with a frontage on Cedar Street of 93 feet and on Denver Street of 125 ft.
and an area of 13,566 sq. ft. The said two parcels are shown on plan entitled
"Plan of Land in Lexington, 1/26/79, Miller and Nylander Co., Div. of Boston
Survey Consultants, Inc. (please see decision filed with the Town Clerk re. this
request and the Board's decision) sae /36 cedst
Decisions filed with the Town Clerk.
16 Fairland St. - granted unanimously.
6 Cherry St. - granted unanimously.
Cedar & Denver Streets - 4 to 1 denied (Chairman voted in favor).
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
