' The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, April 27, 1981
beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Office Building, Selectmen's Meeting Room.

Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings
having been mailed .and advertised as required by statute.
271 Lincoln Street - variance of dimensional controls (CN District), minimum
open area, note (h),- to permit construction of a building, having 3,675 sq. ft.
of ground coverage with a combined floor area of 5,997 sq. ft. The zoning by-law
provides that the combined floor area of all principal and accessory structures
shall not exceed 3,000 sq. ft. Jane F. Curtin was the petitioner.
544 Lowell St., Lexington Gardens, Inc. - to rescind the special permit granted
August 1972 for the use of land and buildings as follows: Change condition 6
of the special permit from "No retail or wholesale business shall be conducted at
this location" to: "No retail business shall be conducted at this location".
Change condition 9 of the present special permit from "There shall be no trucking
before 7:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m. and there shall be no trucking on Sunday,
except that petitioner's own truck which is stored on the premises for its own
use may be used in emergencies" to delete this condition. This request is being
made in order that said property can be sold on the market as a commercial green-
house for which it was originally intended.
52 Lowell St., John and Rosina Busa - special permit to erect a free-standing sign
for identification purposes. This sign will replace the sign on the building.
Decisions: The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See
decisions filed with the Town Clerk for more details.
271 Lincoln St. - granted unanimously with conditions.
544 Lowell St. - decision deferred,to be continued June 1, 1978.
52 Lowell St. - granted unanimously with conditions.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
