HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-04-13BOARD OF APPEALS April 13, 1978 The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, April 13, 1981, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Office Building, Selectmen's Meeting Room. 'Present: George P. Wadsworth, Chairman Ruth Morey Woodruff M. Brodhead Irving H. Mabee Thomas G. Taylor Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings having been mailed and advertised as required by statute. 927 Waltham St., Nicholas A.-Cannalonga - renewal of special permit to continue to store and sell in conjunction with the operation of a nursery all of the supple- mentary items specified in 24.5 and also the sale of Christmas trees, wreaths, etc. (Section 25.34). Estate_of Daisy Wilson (two lots located off Moreland Avenue at the end of Fern St. - variance of dimensional controls (Section 27) to use two lots for building pur- poses, said lots not having frontage on a street, road or way as defined by the zoning by-law. One lot presently contains a farmhouse and barn. Subject property is known as 62 Fern St. Decisions: The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See decisions filed with the Town Clerk for more details. 927 Waltham St. - granted unanimously, subject to conditions and renewal on 4/24/79. 62 Fern St. - withdrawn. Other Action: The Board unanimously accepted new rules and regulations. The motion to accept the rules and regulations was made by Irving H. Mabee and seconded by Thomas G. Taylor. (filed with the Town Clerk on April 19, 1989) A motion to elect Evelyn F. Cole, Clerk of the Board of Appeals was made by Irving H. Mabee, seconded by Ruth Morey and passed unanimously.
