August 26, 1976
' The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, August 26, 1976,
beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Office Building.
Present were all regular members: Chairman Nickerson, Vice Chairman Wadsworth,
Ruth Morey, Woodruff Brodhead and Irving Mabee. Also present were a room full of
townspeople, a Lexington Minute -Man Reporter and a representative of the League
of Women Voters.

Public hearings were held on -the following petitions, notices having been
mailed to the proper persons and notices having been advertised as required by
statute.
Frank B. Cavatorta - special permit to erect a hanging (protruding) sign, 4' by
2 1/2', on the right hand corner of the building at 1049 Massachusetts Avenue.
The Petitioner is the Lessee of the property.
Rosins's Kitchen Deli, Inc. - special permit under Section 25.69 of the zoning
bylaw to sell delicatessen type products on the ground floor of the building at
363A Massachusetts Avenue in accordance with the drawings submitted and dated
May 26, 1976. The aforesaid business use shall be the same as that previously
granted by special permit on October 2, 1975, for the street floor portion of
the same building. That special permit shall be abandoned if this petition is
granted.
John F. Schneider - special permit to install and live in a 3 -bedroom trailer
on the property at 29 Moreland Avenue for a period of 180 days from date (8/26/76).
The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See permits
and denials for details..
Cavatorta - denied on a vote of 4 to 1, Mr. Brodhead voting in favor.
Rosins's Deli - granted unanimously.
Schneider - granted for 45 days, unanimously. (trailer had been installed in
mid-June.
All pertinent material is on file in Board office. Meeting adjourned at
10:00 P.M.
