HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-08-241 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS August 24, 1971 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, August 24, 1971 at 7:30 p.m. in the selectmen's meeting room, The Bird Room, Cary Memorial Building. Present were Vice Chairman Abbott who presided over these hearings, regular members Dawes and Sheldon, and associate members Emery and Reed. Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notice having been mailed to the petitioners and to the owners of all property deemed by the Board to be affected thereby as they appear on the most recent local tax list and also advertised in the Lexington Minute -man: Bruce M. Dayton - for a variance to permit the construction of an addition to the premises at 16 Slocum Road, which would permit a reduction of the front yard from the required 30' to 25'8". James J. Myers - for a variance to permit the construction of an addition to the premises at 11 Constitution Road with frontage of 25 feet instead of the required 30 feet. William P. and Catherine M. Antonucci - for a variance to permit the construction of an addition to the premises at 16 Green Lane, which would reduce the front yard to 15 feet instead of 30 feet and the ' side yard to 10 feet instead of 15 feet. Following the hearings the Board made the following decisions: Bruce M. Dayton: permission unanimously granted to allow the construc- tion of an addition in conformance with plans submitted and to allow a front yard setback of 21'5" instead of the required 30'. James J. Myers: permission unanimously granted to allow the construc- tion of an addition according to plans submitted with 25' frontage instead of the required 30'. William P. and Catherine M. Antonucci - permission unanimously granted to allow construction of an addition to the premises which would have a minimum setback of 21' in place of 30' and a minimum side yard of 10' instead of 15'.
