Nickerson, Chairman Charles T. Abbott George P. Wadsworth Irving H. Mabee Ernest A. Giroux (petitioner) George H. Matheson, Jr. (petitioner) Robert G. Neiley (architect Tom Curran (Lexington Minute -man Reporter) Evelyn F. Cole, Clerk, Board of Appeals The Chairman explained the rules of open session. Mr. Nickerson: We are going into the deliberative part of the session now. The purpose is to make a determination on the petition of Minute Man Park Realty Trust. The Chairman explained the results of his meeting with Town Counsel. ' Mr. Legro ruled that the 10 ft. rear yard was not necessary. After that decision was declared the Planning Board withdrew its reservations about the rear yard requirement. The Chairman read the latest letter from the Planning Board, dated July 30, 1971, signed by Eric T. Clarke of the Planning Board. The Chairman told those present about the meeting of the town committees on Friday, July 30, 1971. The Chairman said that he had requested a letter from the Town Engineer for this meeting. (The secretary was sent to the Mailing Room to see if it had arrived there.) The Chairman asked the petitioners if they had another drawing for the Board. Mr. Neily: No. Mr. Nickerson: I will read what I have written here. Stop me if you want to add to it or change something. The Chairman read five pages (hand written) giving a full account of what had transpired this far on the so-called Central Block. This was later written into the permit. Mr. Wadsworth: What happened at the Historic Districts meeting? Have they made a decision? Mr. Nickerson: We have received no word that they have reached a decision.
