HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-06-161 1 1 BOARD OF APPEALS June 16, 1970 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, June 16, 1970, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Wadsworth, Dawes and associate members Morey and Clarke. The following petitions were heard: Lexington Chalet Inc. - permission to erect and maintain one sign, consisting of one area, 18 ft. x 6 ft* and a second area $' x 3' at 440 Bedford Street. .Daniel C. Yuill DMD - permission to maintain a 20 inch x 30 inch sign, illegally installed in 1956, located on the premises at 20 Muzzey Street. Paul Duan - variance of the Zoning By -Law to allow the construction of an attached garage and added bedroom space above to be added onto the existing residence at 70 Freemont Street, leaving a side yard of 8.2 feet instead of the required 15 feet. Anthony P. Luonao - variance of the Zoning By -Law for the installation of a swimming pool behind the residence at 42 Valley- field Street, leaving a 5 foot side yard instead of the required 10 feet. Walnut Farm Trust - variance to allow six enclosed tennis courts an cub house on lot A next to lot B, which has a street number of 25, on Walnut Street. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the above requests were discussed and the following decisions reached: Lexington Chalet Inc. - granted. Daniel C. Yuill, DMD - granted. Paul Duggan - granted. Anthony P. Luongo - denied. Walnut Farm Trust - Insufficient material. No hearing. The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. R. Dean Johnson Clerk
