HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-05-26 BOARD OF APPEALS May 26, 1970 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, May 26, 1970, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Sheldon and Dawes. The following petitions were heard: James V. Cosgrove - permission to continue operation of a roadside stand at 30'7 Wood Street for the purpose of selling poultry, eggs, plants, produce and wood and also to sell Christmas trees and wreaths in season. Partridge Associates. Inc. - variance so that a home may be built on lot #224 at 6 Barrett Rd. which will have a 22 ft. front yard setback on one corner instead of the required 30 ft. .Robert Cohen - special permit to allow the use of a portion of a proposed dwelling at 3 Fessenden Way as an office of a psychologist as provided for in Section 25.81 of the Zoning By-Law. John P. Carroll - permission to pick up and keep cars, with- out allowing them to be taken from trucks, overnight on the premises known as 31 Allen Street, away from abutters and the street so as not to constitute an eye sore. Robert H. Colbourne - variance to divide land at 38 Turning Mill Road to create a lot B with a frontage of 102 ft. on Mountain Road and an area of 31,150 ft. , and to maintain the dwelling on this lot. The other portion of the land, lot A, will have its frontage on Turning Mill Road and an area of approximately 3 acres. Almario Realty Trust - finding and determination that the proposed construction of a new office building to be located at lot #7 Militia Drive will constitute a suitable development and also for a variance to permit fewer parking spaces than the minimum parking requirements. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the above requests were discussed and the following decisions reached: James V. Cosgrove - Renewal granted. Partridge Associates, Inc. - granted. Robert Cohen granted. John P. Carroll - granted with 7 conditions applied. Robert H. Colbourne - granted.
