HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-05-20BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING I May 20, 1969 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, May 20, 1969, at 7:30 p.m, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Dawes, Abbott, and Wadsworth and Associate Member Blaisdell. The following petitions were heard: Robert Leslie for a variance to construct an addition to an existing building located at 8 Lake Street with 7'10" side yard instead of the required 15 feet. Busa Realty Trust for a variance to construct a porch with a 12' plus rear yard instead of the required 15' at the rear of existing dwelling at 12 Circle Road. Buss Realty Trust for a variance to build at 35 Circle Road, a resi- dence with a side yard of 14.6 feet instead of the required 15 feet. Hartwell Trust for a finding and determination concerning the con- struction of a motor hotel at 482 Bedford St. and for a variance for a front yard of 60' instead of the required 100'. ' At the close of the hearings, an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Robert Leslie - granted. Buss Realty Trust - 12 Circle Road denied. Busa Realty Trust - 35 Circle Road - granted. Hartwell Trust - granted permit to build a motel of 144 rooms, public spaces and outdoor swimming pool on 10.1 acres in accordance with plot and topographical plan and floor plans submitted, together with a slight modi- fication of the public area. Three acres at the rear of the plot may be used for a different purpose later. The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. Clerk
