Savet, Secretary BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING January 7, 1969 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, January 7, 1969, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Dawes, Abbott, Wadsworth and Sheldon. The following petitions were heard: The First Church of Christ,he. Scientist for permission to replace the existing sign located at tfront of the church fac"g Forest St. with anew aluminum illuminated sign, approximately 33" x 57", to be erected at 16 Forest St. Yvonne A. & Dominic Falcone for a variance of the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to extend the present non -conforming house located at 62 Tarbell Ave., which has a side yard of 8'6" instead of the required 101, and to add a chimney which will have a side yard of 6'6" instead of the required 10' Muriel E. York for permission to continue operation of a day nursery to care for not more than ten pre-school children between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at 197 Grant St. James B. _Catalano for permission to continue operation of retail business of selling flowers, plants, and produce grown on the premises at 643 Waltham St. Shell_ Oil Co. for permission to erect and maintain one standing sign on the premises of its retail automobile service station situated at the northwesterly corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Maple Street and number 1095 Massachusetts Ave., such sign to be one of the design and construction shown on plan submitted and to be in substitution for the standing sign formerly located on the premises. Nicholas A. Cann_alonga for permission to continue to operate a roadside stand under the trade name of Wagon Wheel Nursery on property located at 927 Waltham St., Lexington, to be used for the sale of nursery products grown on said land; also to sell Christmas trees, wreaths, etc. in the appropriate season.
