November 5, 1968
A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on
Tuesday, November 5, 1968, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town
Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members
Wadsworth, Abbott (for Corazzini case only) and Associate Members
Brodhead and Emery.
The following petitions were heard:
William & Iris Howard for permission to continue to operate a
nursery school in their home at 15 Ewell Ave., for five days a week -
one session, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., September through June.
Corazzini Bros. for a special permit to construct an additional
greenhouse to the existing greenhouses at 188 Blossom St., and for a
variance of the Lexington Zoning By -Law to permit a 24 ft. front yard
instead of the required 40 ft.
Francis_J -Hart _Jr. (Lexington Driving School) for permission to
use premises at 401 Lowell St., for the operation of a driving school,
which is now located at 55 Waltham St. and must relocate.
Augustus S. Campbell for a variance to build an addition to the
existing dwelling at 58 Harding Rd., which would have a side yard of
7.5' instead of the required 10', and to maintain the present dwelling
with a side yard of 8.6' on the right hand side as you view the lot from
Harding Rd.
Albert Trieschm_an for a variance of the Lexington Zoning By -Law to
permit the addition of a canopy to be built over a sidewalk, which would
leave a side yard of 10' instead of the required 15' on the east side of
the property at 2 Grimes Rd.
Instrumentation Laboratory, Inc. for a special permit to erect a free-
standing

standing sign in the front property at 113 Hartwell Ave. This sign in the
proposed location is considered necessary and essential for proper and
suitable identification of the new plant.
