HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-07-02BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING July 2, 1968 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, July 2, 1968, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members D'awes,Abbott, Wadsworth and associate member Farwell. The following petitions were heard: Susan M. Rycroft for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to maintain as a buildable lot a lot designated as 4A at 142 Woburn St. after deducting from it a lot designated as 4B and adding it to lot #3, all in accordance with a plot plan engineered by Miller & Nylander dated 4/15/68. Carleton D. Adler for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law so as to allow the maintenance of the dwelling at 9 Suther- land Rd. on a lot which contains insufficient frontage land area. Honeywell, Incorporated for permission to erect a free- standing sign to identify Honeywell, Incorporated's New Facility at 2 Forbes Road. Kennecott Copper Corporation for a special permit to place ' two mobile office trailers, each 10 ft. x 50 ft. on the petitioner's property located at 128 Spring St, to be used as temporary office space for a period of not more than one year. Kennecott Copper Corporation for a Finding & Determination concerning the site development and proposed building addition on the petitioner's property located at 128 Spring St., Lexington. Aris K. Andonian to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to erect a tool shed at 138 Grant St. which would have insufficient side and rear yards. George T. Sullivan for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning Bylaw in order to -add to an existing porch at 14 Smith Ave. The addition to this porch would be 8'6" from lot line instead of the required 10'. Cunningham Hardware & Supply Compal for permission to erect a corrugated plastic roof approximately 9' high, approximately 16' x 45' in area, supported by 6"x6" redwood members and enclosed in green vinyl -coated open mesh adjoining the existing hardware store at 327 Woburn St. for the purpose of providing display area and weather pro- tection for garden tools and hardware equipment.
