HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-10-03BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS October 3, 1967 1 A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Select- men's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, October 3, 1967. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Dawes, Sheldon and Wadsworth, and associate Mrs. Morey. The Chairman called the hearings to order at 7:30 p.m. as follows: William and Iris Howard - permission to continue nursery school at 15 Ewell Ave., Lexington Patricia Valentino - permission to continue day care school at 840 Massachusetts Ave. - Edward J. Kelly and Wilbur E. Cheever - to vary the zoning by-law with respect to street frontage and lot size in order to permit an exchange of land at 266 and 268 Bedford St. Eric W. Johanson - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to reduce property at 28 Volunteer Way from 19,232 sq.ft. to approx. 18,000 sq. ft. and to add to lot at 8 Skyview Rd. thereby increasing this lot from 9,202 sq.ft. to approx. 10,400 sq.ft. L. Robert Swift for Honeywell, Inc. - to vary the Lexington Zoning ' By -Law in order to change the minimum yard depth from the required 100 ft. to the side line of Forbes Rd. to 79 feet. Ida G. Krebs - to erect a dwelling on part of lots Al2, A5 and A6, with a frontage of 65.22 ft. and 73.30 ft. and an area of approx. 6.8 acres on Concord Ave. as shown on plan submitted, said dwelling to be used as a school for tutoring students with a maximum of 32 students at any one time. Bernard F. Burke - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to relocate two -car garage at 10 Bloomfield St. which would have a side yard of 10 ft. instead of the required 15 ft. Following the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were made: William and Iris Howard - granted Patricia Valentino - granted Edward J. Kelly and Wilbur E. Cheever - granted Eric W. Johanson - granted L. Robert Swift for Honeywell, Inc. - granted Ida G. Krebs - held over for more complete building plans Bernard F. Burke - granted for 12 ft. instead of the requested 10 ft. All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file in each individual folder.
