HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-07-251 1 1 BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS July 25, 1967 A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, July 25, 1967. Present were Chairman Nickerson, members Dawes, Sheldon and Wadsworth, and associate member Logan Clarke, and the secretary, Mrs. Macomber. At 7:30 p.m. the hearings were called to order, as follows: Anthony R. Cataldo (Gold Ribbon Farms) - requested permission to continue to process, warehouse and sell fresh fruits and vegetables at 1265 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington. Carl and Leota L. Janke - permission to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to erect an addition to the house at 30 Vine Brook Road which will provide a side yard of 18 ft. plus or minus at the widest point to 3 ft. plus or minus at the narrowest point, because of the angular boundary. William F. Schreiber - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to build a one -family house on a 2.8 acre parcel of land at the junction of Turning Mill Rd. and Gould Rd. with 64.27 ft. frontage instead of the required 150 ft. Perry A. Miles - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to construct an open deck at 3 Dewey Rd. one corner of which would extend to a point eight feet from the existing lot line instead of the required 15 ft. Following the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were made: Anthony R. Cataldo - Granted Carl and Leota L. Janke - granted on the condition that no portion of the addition shall be closer than 10 ft. to the side line. William F. Schreiber - granted subject to the following conditions: 1. That the house shall be located as shown on the engineered drawing and approximately 275 ft. from Turning Mill Rd. 2. This variance is granted with the condition (which is to be recorded and run with the land so as to bind future owners) that no portion of the 2.82 acres may be subdivided, or sold, and no further building may be erected thereon except upon the approval by the Planning Board of a definitive subdivision plan.
