DOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS
January 4, 1966
A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held
on Tuesday, January 4, 1966, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office
Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott,
Hoyt, Ripley and Wadsworth, and secretary Mrs. Macomber.
At 7:30 p.m. hearings were opened on the following petitions:
Warren M. Haussler - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in
order to construct a carport at 12 Larchmont Lane with approximately
19 ft. setback instead of the required 30 ft. and with 13 ft. side yard
instead of the required 15 ft.
Charles H. and Susan E. Thomas - to vary the Lexington Zoning
By-law in order to maintain garage at 23 Patterson Rd. which has a
7-1/2 ft. wide yard instead of the required 15 ft.
Charles H. 1homas - for permission to erect a greenhouse
approximately 23 ft. x 16 ft. -for non-commercial use at 23 Patter-
son Rd.
Lexington Trust Company - for permission to locate a 15 ft.
travel trailer at #7 Muzzey St., Lexington, to be used for temporary
Drive -In banking service during a period of construction on Lexing-
ton Trust Co. main office building at 1822 Mass. Ave., Lexington.
Pasquale P. Barbieri - to convert a single-family dwelling at
161 North St. to a two-family dwelling.
Following the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were reached:
Warren M. Haussler - granted
Charles H. and Susan E. Thomas - granted
Charles H. Thomas - granted
Lexington Trust Company - granted
Pasquale P. Barbieri - denied
All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is
on file in each individual folder.
The meeting adjourned at 99:45 p.m.
