A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held
in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, October 19,
1965. Present were Chairman Nickerson, Members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley and
Wadsworth.
At 7:30 p.m. the following hearings were declared open:
Patricia McDonald - for permission to establish a day care
center to be conducted Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for not
more than ten children, at 840 Mass. Ave., Lexington
Bernard C. Maloney - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in
order to subdivide Lot 37 Moreland Ave. so as to convey the rear 23 ft.
more or less with lot 41 Swan Lane, the house at present projects approx-
imately 3 ft. over the lot line.
Curt Sternweiler - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order
to construct a garage at 11 Fessenden Way which will have 13 ft. side
yard instead of the required 15 ft. and 22.6 ft. setback instead of the
required 30 ft.
' Pine Crest Realty Trust - for permission to erect a greenhouse
25 ft. x 50 ft. at 30 Watertown St. for private use in growing products
for his Pine Crest Nursing Home.
Robert E. Doran for permission to erect a plastic greenhouse
84 $t. x 20 ft. at 150 East St., Lexington, to be used in business of
growing plants.
James H. and Anne E. Doherty - to vary the Lexington Zoning
By-law in order to divide a lot at 147 Woburn St. into two lots having
areas of 23,240 sq.ft. and 22,360 sq.ft. respectively instead of the re-
quired 30,000 sq.ft., and frontages of 77.73 and 77.74 ft. respectively
instead of the required 150 ft.
Warren M. Haussler - to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order
to construct a carport at 12 Larchmont Lane which would have a 13 ft. side
yard instead of the required 30 ft.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur-
ing which the following decsions were reached:

Bernard C. Maloney - denied
Curt Sternweiler - denied
Pine Crest Realty Trust - granted
Robert E. Doran - granted
