HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-11-10BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS ' November 10, 1964 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, November 10, 1961, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chariman Nickerson, regular members Hoyt, Ripley and Wadsworth and associate member Dawes. The following petitions were heard: Follen Church Society for permission to sell Christmas trees at 764 Massachusett-s-INTe.-Tecember 10 through December 24, 1961. Antho% R. Cataldo for permission to build used steel framed greenhouse 1 0 ft. long x 4U ft. wide at 1265 Massachusetts Ave. Count -wide Offices Corporation for permission to construct and insta 1 two identification signs adjacent to the Burroughs build- ing now under constructinn at Spring St. and Route 2. Donald L. Cruwys for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning by-law in order to erect a single family dwelling at 45 Woburn St. with a 20 ft. set back instead of the required 30 ft. ' John Modoono for permission to sell Christmas trees and wreaths at 192 Woburn St. during the month of December. Mark Moore Jr. for permission to vary the Zoning By-law in order to build a d=up dwelling on Lot 1 Bedford St. and Larchmont Lane which will be numbered 161 Bedford St. Itek Corporation for a finding and determination that the pro- posed buildings described in petition will constitute a suitable de- velopment in and will not result in substantial detriment to the neighborhood. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- ing which the above requests were discussed, and the following deci- sions reached: Follen Church Society - granted.unanimously. Anthony R. Cataldo - granted unanimously Country wide Offices Corporation - granted unanimously Donald L. Cruwys - granted unanimously John Modoono - granted unanimously Mark Moore Jr. - granted unanimously Itek Corporation - granted unanimously All pertinent material regarding the above petitions is on file under the name of each petitioner.
