BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS

February 18, 1961
A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on
Tuesday, February 18, 1964 at 7:30 P.M. in the Selectmen's Room, Town
Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, members Hoyt,
Ripley, Wadsworth and Associate Dawes.
The following petitions were heard:
Jane H. Carroll for permission tocpen a nursery school for
three- and four-year-old deaf children at her barn at 18 Independence
Avenue in the fall of 1961.
Robert V. and Constance V. Ericson for permission to convey
to Anthony and Nancy DiGiovanni of 10 Fairbanks Road, approximately
7,950 sq.ft. of land from non -conforming Lot 117 Cary Avenue.
Jacob Rice, M.D. for permission to allow the use of the first
floor of the building presently known as and numbered 99 Waltham Street,
as an office for the practice of medicine.
Robert L. Bartholomew for permission to perform alterations and
make additions to existing combination retail store and dwelling located
at 424 Marrett Road.
Edward F. Cataldo for permission to allow the division of the
property presently known as and numbered 404 Lincoln Street into two
lots.
Country -wide Offices Corporation for a finding and determination
that the construction of an office building to be occupied by Burroughs
Corporation in a C 3 zone on Spring Street, will be a desirable develop-
ment in and will not be detrimental to the neighborhood.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the above requests were discussed, and the following decisions
reached:
