HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-12-04BQARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS I December 4, 1962 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, December 4, 1962 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley and Wadsworth. The following petitions were heard: Mr. and Mrs. Calvin H. Branford - permission to maintain single family residence at 2416 Mass. Ave. which would have an 8 ft. side yard on the east side of the house instead of the 10 ft. required. Mr. and Mrs. William G. Ryan - permission to maintain single fam- ily residence at 2US Mass. Ave. which would have a side yard of only 8 ft. instead of the required 10 ft. on the west side. MIT -Lincoln Laboratory - permission to vary building by-law in oraer to erect a meta rame building, 1401 x 801, at 238 Wood St. Mrs. Mary Walsh - permission to build a second addition to Fair- lawn Nursing Home, 265 Lowell St., which would be second-class construction. ' Anthony Joseph Busa - permission to sell Christmas trees and wreaths at 52 Lowell St. fFom December 5 to December 25, 1962. At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Mr. and Mrs. Calvin H. Branford - granted Mr. and Mrs. William G. Ryan - granted MIT -Lincoln Laboratory - granted Mrs. Mary Walsh - granted Anthony Joseph Busa - granted All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file under the name of each petitioner.
