October 16, 1962
A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on
Tuesday, October 16, 1962 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building.
Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley,
and associate member Dawes.
The following petitions were heard:
Nicholas C. Mabardy - permission to hang an awning valance from the
under parr of porch overhang at 43 Waltham St. with script on three sides
bearing the name t1Clip & Curl.'}
Kenneth Blodgett - permission to install and operate a coin operated
ice dispensing machine at 178 Bedford St.
Donald F. Green - permission to combine lots 66A and 66B Spring St.
thereby creating =bililding lot 50' wide by 100' deep, and to erect there-
on a Cape Colonial, 35' wide by 26' deep, which would have side yards of
only 7-1/7 ft.
Robert J. Gettelfi er - permission to maintain existing dwelling at
37 Tyler Rd. which has a setback of 24 ft. instead of the required 30 ft.
Joseph W.To�rii_ - permission to erect a house on lot 3 Vine St. which
would have a setback of 15 ft. instead of the required 30 ft.
KennethBlo�od ett - permission to install and operate eight coin-
operaT-ea=ry cleaning machines at 143-145 Mass Ave.
Francesco Mazzone - permission to erect a house on lot #2 Vine St.
which would have a set -back of 15 ft. instead of the required 30 ft.
At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during
which the following decisions were reached:
Nicholas Mabardy - denied
Kenneth Blodgett 'r granted for one year
Donald F. Green - granted
Robert J. Gettelfinger - granted
Joseph W. Tripi - granted
Kenneth E. Blodgett - granted
Francesco Mazzone - granted
All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file
under the name of each petitioner.
