HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-07-17BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS IJuly 173 1962 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, July 17, 1962, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building Bresent were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott and Hoyt and associate members Ballard and Tucker. The following petitions were heard: Anthony R. Cataldo for permission to process, warehouse and sell vegetables at 1265 Massachusetts Ave. John and Rosina Busa for permission to sell farm produce and nursery products raised on land owned by petitioners from packing room portion of farm building situated on premises numbered 52 Lowell St. Albert K. Peirce to maintain dwelling at 2 Liberty Ave. which does not have required side yard. Helen B. Parsons for permission to establish parcel of land at rear of 12 Warren St. facing on Eliot Rd. as a building lot, which lot does not have required area or frontage. Lexington Cab Co., Inc. for permission to erect a sign, 5' x 219", attached to chimney below the roof om side wall of building at 7 Muzzey St. Michael F. Shea for permission to subdivide Lot 19 Westminster Ave, to convey portion of Lot 19 to lot 20 Westminster Ave. on which non- conforming structure now exists. Neither lot would have required frontage, and Lot 19 would not have required area. Permission was also requested to maintain non -conforming house on Lot 20 which would not have required set- back and side yard. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during which the following decisions were reached: Anthony R. Cataldo - granted John and Rosin Busa - granted Albert K. Peirce - granted Helen B. Parsons - denied Lexington Cab Co - granted Michael F. Shea - granted All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file under the name of each petitioner.
